Newsholme Developments is the owner of the site and is a regeneration business with the aim of supporting the growth and development of communities that also enhances social wellbeing and delivers economic growth. Community engagement is important to Newsholme Developments and they actively involve residents and local stakeholders in the evolution of development proposals. Through this engagement they seek to ensure that community needs and aspirations are integrated into the development process wherever they can be.

Once the proposals have been finalised, Newsholme Developments will be looking to submit a planning application to the City of Doncaster Council. It is anticipated that this would be a ‘hybrid’ planning application; some elements will be submitted with detailed design proposals, whilst others will be in ‘outline’, seeking to establish their acceptability in principle, with the detailed design proposals to follow at a later date.
